I first discovered Tribal belly dance in 2001 at Majma, Glastonbury.
There didn't seem to be much Tribal around in the UK then, so we relied on experienced Tribal dancers to come over from the USA to teach at workshops.
I began teaching this colourful and exciting form of belly dance in 2006 after studying the 'Fat Chance belly dance' format by Carolena Nerrico, the founder of this art form.
I have studied with Paulette Rees Denis, director of 'Gypsy Caravan and have had workshops with Wendy Marlatt, Deirdre McDonald, Sharon Kihara,Kami Liddle and Heike Humphries.
Our Tribe is called 'Tribalessence'.
We are able to perform at Cultural events or any event that requires belly dancing with a unique element.
